University student cries out as parents ask him to rewrite JAMB to study course of their choice (Video)

 As his parents requested him to retake the tests, a university student sobbed angrily as the 2023/2024 Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) got underway. 

In a video that has gone viral online, it appears that the young man was accepted to a university to pursue a completely different field of study than what his parents had envisioned for him. 

He stated that he was required to retake the JAMB exam since his parents wanted him to pursue a career in law. 

The young man complained that his life is a disaster on his social media platform TikTok after his parents pushed him to follow their preferred path, which did not sit well with him.

"Why do parents push their kids now in university to go back and write JAMB just to ultimately get law," he captioned a picture of the exam materials. 

He commented, "My life is a catastrophe is it because I'm not the one paying my expenses," lamenting his dissatisfaction with his parents. 

As they discussed their experiences with parents on social media, users expressed their perspectives. They posted comments online.
